This walk takes you to the main market area of Imphal, Khwairamband, of which the main component of is the Ima Keithel (Mother’s Market). Hear the stories of this nearly 500 years old historic market and the thousands of women running it. Ima Keithel is the greatest symbol of women power in Manipur. Besides the rich heritage of this market, take this walk if you need somebody to accompany you while shopping at Ima Keithel.

Meeting point: In front of the Western gate of the Kangla Fort
End point: Same as meeting point
