The Imphal Walk takes you to the heart of Manipur’s capital. It winds through the historic Mapal Kangjeibung, the incredibly atmospheric Khwairamband Keithel, the lively lanes of Paona Bazaar and the serene Kangla Fort, among others. Along the way, you will catch a glimpse of life in Manipur and its many communities. We hope what you will find most rewarding is the opportunity to discover one of the most uncharted cities in India.
The Imphal Walk is conducted in the morning. This starts at 8.00 a.m. and lasts around 2 ½ to 3 hours. The Walk is shorter on Wednesdays when the Kangla Fort Complex is closed.
The Walk starts from the main entrance of Bir Tikendrajit Park or the Sahid Minar.
The Imphal Walk costs INR 1500 per person. This is inclusive of Tour Manager and Kangla Fort Complex entry fees.
